Andréa Pellegrino has joined the Board of Directors of Hope Floats Initiative, a team of doctors, architects and designers that works with – not for – underserved communities in partnership, helping them take ownership of a sustainable future through basic healthcare, permanent housing, education and job training.

Mark Randall has joined the advisory board of desigNYC, whose mission is to improve the lives of New Yorkers by connecting nonprofits and civic groups serving the public good with passionate, professional pro bono design services.

It’s been an exciting year for Design Ignites Change, a collaboration between the Adobe Foundation and Worldstudio. The program, which encourages the application of the design process to social issues, now supports participation by over 700 college students, 675 high school students and nearly 300 design professionals worldwide!

In addition to ongoing partnerships with AIGA and the Designers Accord, Design Ignites Change is pleased to announce a new partnership with ASID (American Society of Interior Designers). (more…)

Worldstudio has been working on a number of exciting event branding projects for the Union Square Partnership Business Improvement District. Home to New York’s largest Greenmarket and in the midst of a historic park, Union Square is one of the city’s most vibrant and trafficked neighborhoods. Projects include: event branding, print and online collateral, as well as a range of environmental graphics.
