In a program created by Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg, eight Workforce1 Career Centers across the five boroughs of Manhattan help New Yorkers prepare for and find jobs and provide local businesses with assistance hiring employees.
Worldstudio worked closely with the NYC Department of Small Business Services to develop a consistent brand image across a full range of media. The main goal was to communicate Workforce1’s story and services in a non-governmental, friendly and accessible manner to a diverse constituency that consists of jobseekers, employers, training providers and community-based organizations.
The brand identity program included the development of a logo, tagline, type and color scheme along with a full range of print collateral which included: stationery, press kit materials, brochures, posters and an ad campaign. To ensure brand consistency for the in-house production of documents, forms, calendars, workshop flyers and Powerpoint presentations, a set of templates and guidelines for the Career Centers were developed. Complete brand identity and wayfinding guidelines were also produced.
