Social Good Guides Launch

Thursday, March 5th, 2015

The Social Good Guides are a series of 20 essential small-business guides created to support early stage social entrepreneurs, nonprofit founders and individuals working on social impact projects. The goal of the guides is to centralize knowledge and equip changemakers with the information needed to achieve success during the startup phase of their venture building. Each guide has been authored by a distinguished professional with sector expertise in the social impact space; Worldstudio’s Mark Randall has contributed with an article, “Why Great Design Matters.” The topics range from legal to branding to funding to operations. Three years in the making, this project has been produced by the Social Innovators Collective.

AIGA Centennial

Monday, May 5th, 2014

1916: John Coy, 1945: Tom Geismar, 1962: Jennifer Morla, 1950: Michael Osborne

To promote the AIGA Centennial in 2014, Worldstudio conceived “Celebrating AIGA 1914 – 2014.” Leading designers from across the United States were asked to select one year from the 10 decades of AIGA’s history and make a social, political or cultural statement about that year to help commemorate this milestone for the country’s largest professional design organization.

This collection of 101 designs by AIGA Medalists, Fellows and national and chapter presidents provides a remarkable visual overview of the history of the 20th and early 21st centuries. The richness and variety of these annual snapshots in words, images, symbols, marks and photographs is a testament to the talent and vision that can be found in the ranks of the over 26,000 AIGA members.
